So today I played the first Team tournament and I have some improvements.

So the first one is more time per turn (with a 30 turn limit) this should be manageable.

Second (I played with an unexpierienced player) there should be added the function that you can help your friend by moving his units, maybe with a button both players have to push each turn.
This would also help if one leaves so you can control his units.

Third, random spawn places for the players.
And please next time add cards ^^ (the participants know what i mean)

And perhaps add gold transfer so that you can send your friend gold.

Anybody agrees with the suggestions?

Card issue is fixed for next time. That's why it was a test. We sent you the packs+ you would have received.

More time will probably be coming.

Ability to control friednly units probably won't happen.

Gold transfer is something to think about.

There is currently random spawn. Is that what you want? I think it is best that way because it makes the games different depending on teammate location.

I dont think random spawn is way to go, especially if map is designed as team map. (both palyers start very close each other). There should be option to define starting points for team in map builder ( when it comes out ). On some maps it can stay random.

Controlling your teamate units would be too powerful.

I am against giving gold to teammate.

Well I agree that controlling the teammate is stupid but a function to point on something on the map would be useful (like in warcraft 3) so that you can perhaps say: "send your units to the location I marked"

I think teammates should be positioned closer to each other than to their opponents. It does not help the team dynamic to be placed close to your enemy. I've had that happen to me in private 2v2s. It's not fun.

On maze of war for instance, I think it should be random. The game is fun whether you are next to or across from your teammate. It is a different game.

On other maps, and probably maps designed for team, it would make sense to have set spawn points.

I dont know if it has been already mentioned but what if an odd number of players take part in a team tournament. The solo extra player may play some times but there will be every time an odd number of players. What happens with him when he would reach the final?

also, just like teams in private games, THERE NEEDS TO BE TEAM SPEAK. "/tell mythoSD (insert long message)" then realizing that the M is capitalized... not cool. Bad enough to have to constantly type in whispers. Also, will we ever have /w changed from a shortcut for /who to a shortcut for /tell? (one of my big list's suggestions)

There is a team speak. If you hit the arrow on the side of chat you can change it to team.

wasn't able to make the special tourney today, but in the team tournament before today, the arrow was grayed and team chat was not available. Is it now??
